Fuel saving is probably the most consistent reason for fitting a fleet tracking system to a fleet of vehicles or assets. It is also the most immediate and obvious benefit!
Initially the reason for this is simple because a driver who is aware that the vehicle they are driving can be tracked any time of the day or night is more likely to take care to be in the right place at the right time having arrived in the right way. However, the introduction of a fleet management system will also help to provide long term solutions based around the data that the system provides.
